Strength and Conditioning Yoga Movement

An Ashtanga based yoga class integrating elements of Vinyasa Flow and Pilates for participants who are seeking to improve their physical strength and body conditioning. With a maximum of 12 students per class practitioners will be instructed in a personalized therapeutic setting. This approach is beneficial for those hoping to progress in their fitness and yoga practice. Any ability is welcome with practices designed to challenge you at your specific fitness level. Under experienced guidance and hands-on adjustments in the class, practitioners will focus on introducing proper alignment and modifications into their practice. This is perfect for anyone who is looking to incorporate challenging movement and mind/body awareness into their practice.

Instructor: Victoria Mitchell

Victoria has taught yoga in Taiwan, India and Portugal for four years training yoga teachers and running workshops and retreats abroad. Her most recent training has led her to develop a teaching style based on somatic movement using Vinyasa sequencing. Her teaching style also consists of fasical integration for alignment and adjustments from the Ashtanga Vinyasa primary and intermediate series. With extensive training in Pranayama and a background in Ayurvedic Massage and Reiki level 1 Victoria’s teaching approach focuses on how to heal the mind and body through yoga and other related practices.
